Can anyone compare the actual performance against the Birmingham recording Rattle did in the late 80's? Does anyone know which year these represent? I found a copy on ebay but the back cover also doesn't list the original recording date. I am also a bit leery on the source used as the copyright on the CD is 1999 and I believe that is when the larger 80+ CD collection was released. ... more |
