I know some people's 1.21 GigaWatts super-tubed multi mono-bloc McIntosh power amps are much better than my humble Harman Kardon receivers, but unless someone gives me buckets of money for a "gold-pressed latinum" kit, the Harmans will have to suffice.

I'm quite pleased with both my current multi-channel setups and with my stereo. I would not hesitate to recommend any of the components that make up my systems. Though better does exist, given the price,, I'm getting fantastic SQ, and I did not have to take a mortgage to acquire this stuff.

Just got this from Japan. I'm not familiar with the other pressing on SACD, but it is a fantastic recording as far as I'm concerned. On top of this, the album itself is a joy to listen to.

Vangelis has a touch for blending extreme subtlety and nuance into compositions evocative of things beautiful, flowing and grand. It makes for a sound and texture easy to recognize anywhere, anytime. I am quite pleased. When a star performer is advertised as being the draw for a recording, I find it quite fitting to have that performers' partition emphasized. I think most auditors of such recordings also like and expect it. For uniform levels more in tune with those of a more typical live ... more
