Another very expensive one (and the only really expensive one I want, and thus watch prices on) is the ET: The Extra-Terrestrial Soundtrack ; I recently saw a copy sell for GBP 90 or so, which was more than I was willing to pay.

I saw that Beethoven: Symphonies Nos. 1-9 - Wand recently went for over $850 on eBay.

So, umm...anyone want to trade their copy of E.T.? :)

ok, I see that now under advanced search. How far back in time do they go, 30 days?

I'm not sure, maybe a few months at most?

Regarding Beck's Sea Change, I recently paid $73.00 for that on ebay. I sold a prior copy on Amazon for $97.00.

Isley brothers 3+3 went for $140 plus shipping yesterday. Ive been after it for a couple of years but think i have to own up to the fact I'll never own it.

I find Peter Gabriel's Shaking the Tree for $52 surprising...

"Isley brothers 3+3" is one of the best productions of several thousand I own in any format. See my comments:

I ditto your sentiments, Robert and really wonder why SONY who owns the pressing plants doesn't see fit to reissue this and other treasured R & B albums so collectors don't have to go broke paying outrageous prices for these once $13~15 discs on E~Bay.

Would love to have Sly and the Family Stone in mch, as well, since they never sounded great via Epic Vinyl or RBCD.

With the success and great profit margin commandeered by Universal/Japan's stereo, single~layered SHM~SACDs, I truly wonder when and if SONY will ever get on this bandwagon......Am truly curious what a multichannel, single layered SHM~SACD would sound like?

The Cardigans disc typically goes in the $150 to $200 range on e-bay.

The craziest bids I've ever seen were for the Scorpions Moments of Glory.
It's gone in the $1300 range IIRC

I believe eBay keeps most data available for 60 days after the bidding ends.

As a general rule, any disc you want desperately cost the earth whereas any disc you have for sale is worth peanuts according to my experience of e-Bay. Luckily I am not a cynic so presume leaks are not involved.
