I came across this Sonny Rollins' album -The Bridge- over at the Discogs site;
http://www.discogs.com/Sonny-Rollins-The-Bridge/release/2328016
Can anyone verify that this SACD was actually released? I can't find any information about it here.
Was there other RCA/Bluebird SACD releases from that time?
The Bridge was originally released on the RCA Victor label.
Now that Sony Music has taken over the label, hopefully they eventually will release it on SACD.
I won't hold my breath though.

The remaster of the Bridge was done in DSD, but issued as a redbook CD. Possibly who ever listed this saw DSD and assumed it was an SACD.

That reissue (CD only) is the best sounding version of this album. It has been newly remixed from the 3-track masters, while previous reissues, including the Classic Records Gold CD, where transfered from a 2-channel mixdown copy of the masters.

This would have made a great multichannel SACD (3 front channels)
