Tough to limit to 3. However, I can state pretty clearly that I would probably repurchase every title I currently own (in most cases the full catalog) for the folowing artists if they were released on SACD (esp MCH) with a good mastering:

Dire Straits
Pink Floyd
Led Zepplin
The Beatles
David Bowie
Crowded House
Gomez
Herbie Hancock
Miles Davis
Dave Holland
Pat Metheny
Joe Jackson
Pat Metheny
The Verve
Elton John (Can we at least get the ones that are already prepared and missing from the series? Don't Shoot Me..., Caribou,....)

Yes, I'd be broke, but I'd be very happy!

My choice(s)

Any Pavarotti/Sutherland/Bonynge/Decca Verdi or Donizetti
Solti's Ring Cycle
Mehta/Pavarotti/Sutherland Turnadot
Solti/Nilsson Salome and Elektra

Orchestral...

Solti/CSO doing Stravinsky's Rite of Spring (1970's Krannert recording)
Solti/CSO doing Berlioz's Symphony Fantastique (also a 1970's Krannert recording)

Finally, have Mercury Living Presence finish releasing all of the Fennell/Eastman recordings on SACD!!!!!

I know, way more than three, but...c'est la vie!!!!

Cheers,

If you had to pick a "most wanted to be released on SACD" wish list (3 items), what would they be? Just curious what everyone else dreams about.

Most Andreas Vollenweider albums, music by The Shadows, music by Tangerine Dream - especially "Ricochet".

I'd really love to know what the chances would be that any of this'll ever happen.

Sorry for the slightly off-topic nature, but I've literally just taken delivery of my very first stereo-only SACD - Kitaro's "Kojiki" album. It's absolutely incredible. Apart from the fact that the music is so nice, which helps (!), it just sounds so three-dimensional. The clarity and depth are breath taking!!

Isn't is a shame there is no Alan Parsons material out? Wouldn't some of his stuff be something to hear in Surround?

Oh yes ... I have all Vinil and CD's of them ...
and seeked the Internet for SACD's ....
It's a real shame !

Ok... More Sibelius, Debussy, Ravel, Poulenc and strangely, (since most of my favorite music is Classical), I would like to see... dare I say it? The Dixie Chicks. You can throw tomatoes at me now ;) **ducks**
