It has been officially confirmed by at least 3 web sites that Box set 3 in the NTSC format will be released on November 11th. Concurrently, Atlantic/Rhino is also releasing their version in Dolby Digital and DTS. As far as I can ascertain, the list price is $230. That is what Elusive disc and Amazon are charging. CD Universe is charging $211.95 + $6.99 shipping (they have the rhino version for $104.95). Since we have until Nov. 11th, if someone on this site can find a cheaper price, please share it with us.

Support SA-CD.net and order from Amazon or CDUniverse through the links on the boxset page!!

Hopefully Acoustic Sounds will put it up for order soon - I believe they have been around $175 for previous sets in the Genesis series.

I live in the US, but ordered mine from JPC. The exchange rate for USD v. Euros is much better now than it had been in the recent couple of years. 110 Euros = $140USD, plus about $20 shipping. I received a shipping notice today, and expect to receive the package in about a week. I've ordered many CD/SACD's from JPC over the years without a hitch.

I should also note that the JPC package is the european version of the release -- SACD's and PAL DVD's. Make certain your DVD player can play PAL discs (my Oppo's handle that).

Unfortunately, I was informed by CD Universe today that there is an indefinite delay on the NTSC/SACD/DVD release of Genesis Box set 3. Three websites confirmed Nov. 11th as the release date so maybe I'll be lucky to have it by Xmas. Don't be fooled by the Atlantic/Rhino release which is considerably cheaper as it only has DD and DTS (NO SACD multi). Patience is indeed a virtue!

Just an update -- I received my order from JPC in yesterday's mail. I'll only be able to listen in small increments until the weekend. However, I gave Selling England a spin for 15 minutes this morning (in multi-channel) and it sounds fantastic. It is a very aggressive use of surrounds, although Peter Gabriels' voice is anchored front/center.

The NTSC/DVD (no SACD) release is already out in Hong Kong, while my order of SACD/PAL is on its way from jpc.de
