didn't see this posted anywhere. so.....

i went to tower.com after doing a google search for creedence clearwater revival sacds. they were listed as $29.99 there (they say cd as format but if you scroll down the description reads "this hybrid super audio cd will play in all cd players and super audio cd players") but when i added them to my cart and signed in they all changed in price to $17.82 i ordered 3 of them as i have the other 2 i like on vinyl. its a good day.

if you go to tower.com just search creedence clearwater revival and sort by price. the single albums over $20 are the ones you want to look at.

here's a link to one of them. like i said, its listed as $29.99 but when i went to my cart the prices had all changed to $17.82

Is there still a Tower Records anywhere? As far as I know, the whole operation went out of business over a year ago. I'm wondering if, somehow, their website never got taken down (hey, the website for the Sands in Vegas was up long after that hotel had been imploded!), and it's busily taking orders that will never be filled...

Their website has been running fine, and in fact got a revamp shortly after they went online only. They eventually partnered with Caimen.com -- a company that has gotten much praise on this site -- and now seem to be fully the same entity. I've ordered from them many times since and have never had an issue. (Alas, about 16 months ago for a good four months they had fantastic prices, often 30% or more off retail, plus the free shipping over $25 that they still have. I got a LOT of discs...now they are merely only a little under retail, but I'd still fully recommend them if you do find their prices fine)

For those not in the know caiman.com is an amazon seller and their wares can be accessed via sa-cd.net's amazon links.

Buying through this site's links helps keep sa-cd.net going.
