I've been looking, but I can't seem to find the track length for Bolero on this disk. Does anyone know if it is a 17 minute version, or if it is a faster version? If you find this information on the web, could you tell me where? I've tried many places, and even the official Sony site doesn't give track length.
Thanks, Ryan

Thanks for the info.
I guess if I want the 17 minute version, I'll have to pick up the Mobile Fidelity recording.
Ravel: Bolero, Orchestral Works - Skrowaczewski Ravel: Bolero, Orchestral Works - Skrowaczewski
The nice thing about that one is that it is multi-channel and a hybrid, but the bad thing is I can't find it for under $30 anywhere.

PS. How do I get that line with the title to link to the page instead of having the actual address show?

do you prefer the mofi's sonics because it's mch, or does it sound better even in stereo regardless of being an older recording ?

Sorry I should have been more detailed with my first post. My system is strictly stereo(here's a link to it http://forum.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/fr.pl?vopin&1060551126&read&3&4&), across the board the MoFi is more accurate to the original performance to me.

I own this recording. Beware that it's a little bass-shy, especially in the final dance from Daphnis et Chloe. The performances, (though with playing not as polished as one would get from the 'Big Five' as they say, more than make up for the deficiency with playing of great energy and sensitivity.
Don't forget the new DG Boulez is coming out in a few months! No coolness here, and the Berlin Phil play gorgeously. No Daphnis though.
