Discussion: Shostakovich, Prokofiev, Britten: Cello Sonatas - Wispelwey/Lazic

I've been enjoying some Prokofiev piano sonatas and violin sonatas lately, so I was motivated to try this release from Lazic and Wispelwey from Channel Classics. The music is 100 percent delightful, performance is superb, and while Jared has made advances in his recording technology since this was done, I can find no fault with the sound quality. Read Poly's review for more, and I will simply say this is wonderful music-making. These 20th century geniuses made serious but completely accessible music. Kudos to all involved.
