Performance: Sonics: |
This disc continues Eighty-Eights/Village history of [commitment to] quality recordings. I highly recommended this disc if you enjoy jazz. Richard Bona's electric bass shines through. As with the other SA-CD releases, this is a DSD recording. The gold "Master Sound" logo indicates the Direct SBM technique must have been utilised for the CD layer. I rate the Stereo DSD program [there is no multichannel programme] as folllows:: Recording/Mastering ****** state of the art performance is of a high standard 4.5 out of 5 Interestingly, the packaging is like a LP cover; not digipack, it even includes a dust cover! I personally prefer the super jewel case myself. I have listen to the album now over a dozen times and it continues to grow on me.
