Wonderful tribute to Sir Alexander Gibson. He recorded this disc just shortly before his death but still there were the energy of the young man.

What a wonderful SACD! The all works on the disc are very interesting. Lehtola's colorful and analytic view is something very special.

This historic RQR recording I like most in stereo with tube amplification, horn speakers and a serious bass fundament. With that there is an incredible holographic image of the violin in contrast to the LSO.
