Re-buildt by Vacuumstate electronics NAD M3 (only the power section in use) Gamut L3 speakers (modified). Added supertweeters on top of the speakers. Lots of tweeks. |

Diana Krall is a bit boring, Imo. That said, I like "Love Scenes". I have both the hybrid SACD and the SHM-SACD. The latter sounds best; has the most "analogue" and unlimited sound picture. ... more | |

I share your view on Marantz "house sound". Exactly as you said it. I bought a Yamaha SCD-S1000 player in 2010. It is very well buildt. The disc transport is high quality made, and that is very important to me. Right out of the box it sounded very good on SACD's, better than my Vaccuumstate modded Sony player.
