Growing up in the 70's and 80's in never listened to any Jazz or Fusion. I was a Pop and Rock guy. But during the early 90’s colleagues and my brother in law got me interested. I started out with guitar oriented music because that’s what I liked in Rock and Pop. One of the things I bought was Four Play, none of the names meant much to me except for Lee Ritenour. It was only when I made a tape for my brother in law the name Bob James starting meaning something to me. My brother in law heard the first few notes and immediately told me it was a guy called Bob James. Ever since then I started to listen more intensely to the keyboards and I grown to like his style of playing. Of course I was very happy to see the announcement on the audiofidelity website for this release. This is a great disc if you are into Bob James or Fusion. Sound quality is great, not that one can expect anything else with Steve Hoffman involved.
