Performance:   Sonics:
A band that is ignored almost everywhere except Germany, Fury in the Slaughterhouse brings out what I think is their best album, "The Color Fury". Most have never heard of them, although they did have a hit with "Every Generation Got Its Own Disease" as well as a great cover of "Dear Prudence". Here, they expand on their sound that is really not comparable to any other group.

Highlighting this album is a great cover of "Midnight Rider". In addition, "Things Like This", "Boomtown Babylon" and "Grey November Day" are all excellent songs that deserve to be hits. This SACD has very nice sonics and offers a very nice restrained multi-channel mix. Bass is the only weakness here. One note should be made about track 14. When the player hits it, it will start to count backwards as it plays the bonus track.

If you are a fan of good music and are looking for something new to listen to, give this album a shot.
