Performance:   Sonics:
Another great Jacintha "Package". Why package? 'cause the instrumentals form a "partnership" with Jacinthas "asymmetrical" vocal style. Unlike Ella's symmetrical voice/style (Ella could front a bunch of apes banging tin pots and playing Kazoos and still come out sounding perfect) Jacintha's vocals are very interdependent on her accompaniment.

This is a good selection of songs and some of the instrumentals transported me back to my time spent in after hours Jazz (Beatnik) Coffee Houses of the late 50's.

Sound quality is right up there. This is a great sit-back-relax and enjoy type of album.

stereo sonics: wonderful (sometimes almost a bit too) warm Grove Note sound
