Does anyone know the source format of this title?
According to the review it was recorded in 2009/2010. Can I safely assume then it's DSD in origin?
With Linn this is difficult to ascertain, unlike some other well known labels.

I understand pretty well all Linn titles are PCM. You could just get a copy, stick it in your player and decide whether it sounds good.

Ditto. Disc is in the mail... In a couple of weeks I'll be able to take zeus' advice and stick it.

I note that one vendor categorises this as "Ambience": a sort of B-grade pigeonhole where one might also file second-echelon hacks such as J.S. Bach, Monteverdi, Vivaldi, Couperin, Frescobaldi -- in other words, music before Haydn -- plus Debussy, McPhee, Glass, John L. Adams, John C. Adams etc.

Disc arrived today. Took zeus's advice and stuck it.
Kuniko not just a virtuosic musician, but a co-composer: like an organist pulling out the right stops for a Bach piece, she has found the right colours to add to Reich's monochromatic work. And, PCM or pease-porridge*, it's a sonically WONDERFUL recording!!! _____________ *tiny grey-on-black letters on back of jewelbox say "SACD, DSD, SBM-Direct and their logos blah blah.... DSD Mixing & Mastering." That's all she wrote.

Doesn't confirm that DSD used for the original A/D conversion.
