Pioneer DV868 working fine.
Contusion never sounded so good on any format.

Both Stevie Wonder's and David Bowie's "troubling" SACDs play fine on the 980H with the latest beta firmware:

Thanks!
I installed the firmware and it fixed the skip.

Yup, the Oppo 980H firmware update fixes both the Stevie and Bowie SACD skips. Thanks!

Skips at 5:19 on my Pioneer DV-600. I wonder if there's an update for my player that might solve this the way it has for others. Time to google...

The original recording sounds awful. Does this remaster make any correction to this?

I hadn't heard this album till I bought this SHM-SACD edition - although I now realise I've heard a few songs from it - so I can't say how it compares to any previous release. What I can say however, is that it sounds of a similar quality to the SHM-SACD release of Innervisions and that release sounds superb and blows the CD release right out of the water!

I'd be amazed if there's a better digital version out there and this edition must surely give the very best vinyl release a good run for its money; it may even be better than the best. The only negative is that on some players, track 1 stops at 5:19 and jumps automatically to the start of track 2. If you can live with that and want the best sounding digital version, I'm sure this is the one for you.

Sorry for my out of topic question, but I can't find othe way to ask you the following: can you help me with the differences in sound in between Lexicon RT-10 and Marantz DV6001 please? I have the Marantz and I can buythe Lexicon, but I'm not sure if I will have a best sound.
Thanks in advance.

My Marantz DV 6001 was modded so it doesn't sound like the stock unit anymore. However, the way I remembered it, the stock Marantz sounds warmer and has leaner bass compared to the Lexicon. IMO, the Lexicon edges it by a bit in terms of resolution and bass.
