1. Rush - Moving Pictures (MFSL SACD)
2. Rush - 2112 (MFSL SACD)
3. Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here (MFSL SACD)

Good choices but much rather have the floyd on EMI , having heard the Quad vinyl disc it is made for surround in the same way as Dark side of the moon is, (why do MFSL not do surround) also it would signal some sort of commitment that EMI was still interested in SACD and there would be hope for other things from their huge back catalogue but if they are not bothering with the Beatles what hope has any one else got

MFSL has done some surround SACDs: some of the VOX titles and Cowboy Junkies: Whites of Earth.

1° Symphony box sets of various composers such as Brahms, Bruckner, Schubert, Schumann, Dvorak, Vaughn Williams, Nielsen, Copland, Scriabin, Tchaikovsky and others.

2° Complete violin, cello and piano concerto's such as Brahms, Bartok, Tchaikovsky, Lalo, Paganini, Prokoviev, Walton, Saint-Saëns, Shostakovich etc etc

3° And all the single symphonies and concerto's that aren't available on SACD yet.

What's holding the editors back? Why, just as an example, so many performances of Mahler's symphonies? Not that I don't like Mahler, on the contrary.

Yes, me too. Notice however that the plethora of Mahler comes not from the likes of Channel, PentaTone or BIS. The proportion of Mahler to the remainder of their catalogs is quite small. We are fortunate indeed, to have them!

Still I would like to see the completion of PentaTone's Shostakovitch series and especially of the Prokofiev symphonies! And lots, lots more of violinist Arabella Steinbacher!

In addition to Schnittke #4 I understand she particularly likes Bruch's Scottish Fantasy. I heard her do the Ravel sonata in recital and I have her Orfeo CD of same and one can just imagine she would be excellent in Debussy and that pairing her with Marie-Elisabeth Hecker for the Halvorsen/Handel duo and pairing it with the Ravel sonata for cello and violin, would make a dynamite recording.

Sad that Channel lost Wispelwey because if Channel were able to record that with their new violinist and Wispelwey, we'd likely have a real winner there as well.

1. The entire Incubus catalog, with the stereo layers done properly (unlike the A Crow Left Of The Murder SACD)
2. The entire Rush catalog, it would be nice to hear Vapor Trails mastered properly
3. Cinematic Orchestra's Man With A Movie Camera soundtrack. Already a great sounding CD...would love to hear as an SACD.

Right there with you on the Rush catalog, especially Vapor Trails. In fact, if they could remaster the last few albums with no compression, that would be awesome. In the meantime, an SACD of the Snakes and Arrows Live album would be terrific as well.

I don't know if someone rescued old 'L'Oiseau Lyre' catalogue, but I would like to have on SACD, direct from analogue masters, three or more of Geminiani and Vivaldi's titles directed by Christopher Hogwood.

Cheating a bit by using an artist's entire catalog, but.....

1) George Winston's entire catalog (Hummingbird, Cloudy This Morning, The Swan on SACD stereo OR multichannel...drool)
2) Tears for Fears: Songs from the Big Chair
3) Ben Folds Five/Ben Folds entire catalog (Evaporated, Magic, Selfless Cold & Composed in pristine SACD multichannel clarity...dare to dream...ahh)
