Why is this only available as an import from Canada or France? Especially if caiman stocks it? The others in this series are not...

Aye, I'm still trying to work out why van Zweden's Bruckner 2 is only available in Japan when the rest have been released worldwide...

This is totally wacky, isn't it?

I remember having to order the 'Dohnanyi: Chamber Music II' disc from Caiman via Amazon.fr the same way because nobody else had it at the time.

So I pay in Euros, pay a ridiculously high shipping fee, and the disc ships from Florida...

I am crazy!

I don't have an answer to your question, but just to let you know that links to other vendor sites are added automatically, so when they have it for sale the links will appear here shortly afterwards. This just appears to be a distribution issue which will sort itself out in time.

My copy from amazon.fr cost only US$26.38, and crossed the Atlantic in a mere 9 days (versus 29 days for a disc ordered later that week from Connecticut).

A disc from Amazon.fr crossed the Atlantic to reach you? Why did it not traverse the "Chunnel"?

Did you mean Amazon.Ca by any chance?

ArkivMusic has it for $23.49 plus shipping. It had better be great!
