We are beta-testing. I know I have said this a long, LONG time, but we're almost there.
Good news is that there will be no price increase for surround, and anyone that has already DL:ed 24-bit Stereo will be able to download the surround version free of any surcharge.

Robert

So, I should be able to put this on a USB thumb drive and when the MCH comes out I can get that file too? That's about a $12 difference in price with the download much cheaper. Do you have an about date for the ability to do the MCH?

I don't know anything about USB:s, but, if you have bought the hi-res version of anything from BIS and it later comes out as Mch, you'll be able to download also that version free of charge.
Yes, I do have an about date, but I am shutting up - too many times I have heard the same story and too many times something has come up in the last moment. Burnt child shuns the fire. But actually really soon. Within my lifetime...

The new Sibelius set has gotten a most favourable review and is a recording of the month at Musicweb International.

I can only agree. Like that reviewer, I have played the 24/96 stereo files from Eclassical and can hardly wait until the surround files are available. (From the same source I right now downloading the new Bis recording of Rachmaninov's 2nd symphony.)

And speaking of Vanska/Minnesota Sibelius cycle, I have 1,2,4 & 5, did BIS ever complete the cycle? I would also be interested in the new cycle if BIS offers it in SACD, all I hear is downloads, anyone know if SACD is also planned?

If the new cycle you're referring to is the Kamu cycle, it is available for pre-order for release in late October. In Germany, it's now available.

Correct, and the Producer Rob Suff said that this will be the finest of the 3 SACD:s. His eyes (this stiff upper-lip Welshman) watering when saying that. It must surely be something extreme, but I haven't heard it as yet.

Looking forward to completing the set. Any idea of a release date Robert?
