Is the new site finished then? Or have the rest of the reviews just not been transferred over yet?

I'm willing to give Zeus the benefit of the doubt, as it's obvious the new site is a work in progress.

Be patient. He'll get it sorted.

Sadly, I've tried everything and was unable to transfer my library over..very frustrating .. I'll just have to do it manually. ;(

My first impressions are that Zeus wants the new site to do ONE THING AND ONE THING ONLY,generate an income for him!
Gone are all the things that made me too, check this the good old site very often, sometimes on a daily basis.
I will probably read some reviews now and then.
But I strongly suspect that his next step is to go the same road as some other reviews only based sites have.
Make you pay to read a review. When that happens I will never visit his new site again.
Lebewohl.

so what? I do not care. Making money is not dirty.
I like a functional site (and he will make it happen soon, I think)
I am not that negative, its a work in progress.

When you burn your bridges like he has, it does matter and it will not be a profitable venture.

I have so many questions I can't even say anything negative until I see the end result. Just a couple little notes/questions that by being patient will be answered.
Facebook is all a buzz on the audiophile sites basically saying they don't think they will like what is coming.

I clicked on the new logo button and went through all the screen shots, I think there are 5 and only classical recordings, not very inviting for us non classical listeners.

It wouldn't accept my username and password.

It appears there will be only discussions, reviews, etc for individual titles, of course as we know many title discussions go WAY off topic.

That is the point of The Rock Thread and the BIS Thread, to be free to go off topic with your peers.

By omitting the Forum as is, I assume one won't be able to ask this community about equipment, etc.

It explains in the opening: (High Resolution here is defined as anything better than CD quality. Since most music nowadays is recorded, or mastered from analogue, at better than 16bits/44.1kHz it makes sense to acquire the maximum resolution available.) I would have to think with a statement like this the current owners of this site will be open to including digital download in the future?

I hope that the site remains valid for a non classical listener such as myself.

I am extremely disappointed that the new site does not include a forum. The forum is my favorite feature of the old site. I guess all good things must come to an end (and yes, I am a STTNG fan!).

I can't say that I'm thrilled by this new site. Its hard to use, and it makes it difficult to scan for new releases. That's 90% of why I come here. Without that feature, what's the point?

Mmm, my earlier 'Picard facepalm' post has been removed, it seems resistance is futile!

Not engaging in dialogue with members during this process of change is one (counter-productive) thing, but denying members the freedom to communicate with each other is less productive. I understand the need to moderate highly offensive or discriminatory language, but moderating our concerns and admittedly, criticisms, is I feel, poor form. That's the sort of thing I expect takes place in North Korea, surely not here?

Fwiw, my criticisms are only in regard with the changes, I have nothing critical to say about Zues - for after all, Hitler was a vegetarian because he disliked cruelty to animals, so he wasn't all bad; indeed, he wanted to bring about a better future, but just had some pretty divisive and extreme ideas of how to go about that.
