Apart from Amazon are there any general sellers of SACDs in the UK?

For classical, I now use Presto since Crotchet sadly closed down

MDT is my preferred mail order retailer, never had a problem. I occasionally order from Presto but their shipping costs are high.

I've used both MDT and Europadisc (for classical SACDs) without any problems in the last. Often cheaper than Amazon too.

All the above are very reliable and the Leamington Spa based one also offers high res downloads now.
Amazon UK prices seem to have increased recently as well as postage costs. A recent LAWO sacd is available from Amazon at just short of £25!! Amazon merchants are still the best bet.

I mainly use the Amazon Marketplace (UK and FR). Price plus postage (£1.82 on amazon UK, 3.40€ on Amazon FR)is usually cheaper than buying from Amazon directly (with free shipping).

In that case, discs are shipped individually, and the package fits into my letterbox. Some sellers ship from the US, so it can take a while though (2-3 weeks). As the value of the shipment is below 22€, no customs duties / VAT are due.

Presto Classical are by far the best alternative and their cataloging rivals SA-CD.net with Red Book titles included. There are still a few specialist shops around like the The Collector's Room in Salisbury who specialise in SACD. Their mail order arrangements are of similar vintage to those of Wells Fargo but they are worth a visit or phone-call for UK colleagues.
