Yes, this Friday I believe. I already have the .dsf files tagged and am uploading them to the Amazon Web Services server used by nativedsd this evening. That's actually the easy part. The harder part is assembling all the data to support the site album page.

Ok. Thanks for the info.

Looking forward to hearing it.

I'd be curious as to whether anyone here has listened to this in stereo. The review doesn't rate the stereo sound, and I found the highly praised Dvorak 8 from this source to sound a bit tubby in my listening room, which admittedly adds a bit of ambiance that in most cases is beneficial. I suspect that Sound Mirror was attempting to add hall ambiance to that recording by emphasizing bass in the mix. The best recording I have found using that technique is the third recording in the Aadland's Grieg series on Audite - Grieg: Complete Symphonic Works Vol. 3 - Aadland

I listen to stereo only. I have listened only a few times, but I'd say that this one sounds quite stunning, nothing tubby in the slightest. But I should add that the room I'm listening in is quite spacious, and without clutter.

My listening room is long and narrow, 38'x15', with substantial furnishings, however, which I wouldn't call clutter, but ...
Depending on speaker placement and dimensions, larger rooms, in my experience, can add beneficial ambiance or can diminish apparent bass.

May have to try this recording, notwithstanding a surplus of this composition, as the performance is described as light, which definitely seems unusual for this piece.

sorry, I think in meters, my room is 6x4m, so I take it your room is substantially longer. No bass issues here (my speakers being pretty neutral; I hate to hear added bass).

I wouldn't exaggerate the lightness. It has enough oomph where it needs to be. (I also find these standard remarks about religiousness useless. What does that sound like?)

So far as we know concerning his Bruckner, only the adagio of the Ninth is implicated by an assumed relationship to the Latin Mass. :-) Honeck does say that his work on the podium is about the music, not religion. Still, there is a mystical element to religion, and a predilection towards mysticism could influence performance, I suppose.

I keep getting a Database Error when I go to checkout. The same was happening the other day too when I tried to get this Bruckner recording. It doesn't happen when I try to purchase other items.

Not sure if it helps but this is the error I'm getting-
