Ironically, the music on this audio-only Blu-ray was recorded for TV and is also available on a high quality US video DVD:

On the DVD, the sound produced by the german public radio station WDR is quite good, but not comparable to live recordings made for album release at the same time.

The frequency range is limited (bass is thin, treble extension way below 15kHz) and the sound is a bit too distant. The recording is mono, whatever the Blu-ray says. Not sure it will benefit from hi-rez sound.

Maibe I am just an amateur but I find this Jazzline.de recording fantastic as played UD9004 MCH analog to AV8801 and stereo to CP700.
