2 years after purchase and 100 SACDs later, this disc is still one of my favourites.
It is a mystery to me, how the single channels, each sounding incredibly unspectacular, can make up such a warm and overwhelming picture.
Musically, the album starts off great but loses a lot towards the end.

This is one utterly mediocre disc.
Not judging the performance, the surround mixing is tasteless. I thought that at this point, we were past the "drums in the front, delayed gated reverb in the back"-phase of many early surround-experiments.

A very personal album.
While this may be great for fans or poets, it is torture for the rest. I openly admit to not engaging with the intellect of this disc, because I was instantly put off by its lack of .. umm... everything else.
