These are the original mixes, and the mastering holds its ground against the original Ludwig LP. After hearing the MFSL, I tossed my remixed DCC out the car window and watched a semi truck smash it into a million pieces.

This Audio Fidelity disc contains the best digital masterings for most of these songs. They are the vintage mixes found on the orig. LP's. The MFSL SACD's are hit or miss partially due to some of them using remixed source tapes. Audio Fidelity should go back and remaster Greatest Hits Vol. I on ... more

I agree with jcarr. Dynamics have been compressed and the sound is fatiguing. Disappointing since this was supposedly taken from the original UK tapes. Wasted opportunity.
